Job summary

Global European technology company seeks Project Engineers to support Dynamic Positioning (DP) software deliveries. The role blends office-based software engineering with international travel to vessels for commissioning and project support, roughly 120 days per year.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's or Master's in a related field, with strong English and optional knowledge of C/C++ programming. Activities include CAT, IAT/FAT preparation, and collaboration with head office across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Diploma holders may be considered with 5 years in the Navy or 3 years in the shipbuilding industry.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of C/C++ programming would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform Dynamic Positioning (DP) software installation, commissioning and testing onboard vessels.
• Participate in installation and commissioning activities, including Customer Acceptance Tests (CAT).
• Travel internationally for onboard commissioning and project assignments, approximately 120 days per year.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during commissioning and vessel operations.
• Support preparation and execution of Internal Acceptance Tests (IAT) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
• Prepare project documentation, including system design documents, test procedures and commissioning documentation.
