Angle Recruitment, Maritime Talent Experts is assisting a global client in Singapore to hire a Dry Bulk Vessel Operator. The role oversees post-fix vessel operations and ensures safe, efficient voyage execution while coordinating with vessels, charterers, brokers, agents and internal teams.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will manage end-to-end operations for 12-13 vessels, align with Charter Party terms, handle laytime and demurrage, supervise voyage instructions, port calls and cargo

Qualifications

• Degree/professional qualification in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics or related field.
• 5+ years’ dry bulk operations experience, in post-fixture, loading, unloading, demurrage
• Exceptional knowledge of dry bulk Charter Party Agreements, laytime, demurrage and voyage economics
• Experience with Handysize/Supramax vessels preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end dry bulk vessel operations from fixture to voyage completion for 12-13 vessels
• Ensure alignment with Charter Party Agreement; respond promptly to events, handle laytime, demurrage/dispatch and claims
• Oversee voyage instructions, scheduling, port calls, cargo operations, bunkering and performance
• Coordinate with Masters, charterers, brokers, agents, terminals and suppliers
• Monitor vessel positions, bunker consumption, speed and operational KPIs
• Manage cargo documentation, bills of lading and letters of indemnity
• Resolve operational issues and disputes to minimise commercial exposure
