Job summary

ANSUN SHIPPING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a trainee Operations Assistant to support voyage execution for Capesize vessels. You will help prepare fixture notes, monitor vessel movement and coordinate arrival times with internal teams and external parties.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided; strong English and Chinese communication is essential in this fast-paced role.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Maritime Studies, International Trade, or related field.
• Fresh graduates welcome; no experience required.
• Basic understanding of shipping terminology.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.

• Support laytime recording and demurrage/despatch calculations.
• Liaise with port agents and freight forwarders under the guidance of senior staff.
