Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics, or related field.
• Experience in dry bulk shipping operations or shipbroking preferred.
• Understanding of charter party terms and shipping documentation.
• Familiarity with laytime, demurrage, and despatch claims is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organised, multitasker, able to work in fast-paced environments.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Manage daily post-fixture operations for dry bulk vessels and ensure charter party terms are carried out.
• Liaise with shipowners, charterers, brokers, port agents and stakeholders to keep operations efficient.
• Monitor vessel schedules, positions, loading and discharge operations with timely updates.
• Review shipping documentation including charter parties, NOR, SOF, and bills of lading.
• Handle laytime calculations and demurrage/despatch claims accurately and on time.
• Ensure compliance with charter party obligations and contractual terms.
• Maintain operational records and voyage reports; coordinate with internal teams for handover.
• Perform other operational and administrative duties as assigned.
