Qualifications

• Seafaring background with direct cargo loading and stowage knowledge.
• 5–8 years in ship operations across sea and shore roles.
• Experience leading or supervising a team.
• Experience managing laytime, demurrage, and voyage P&L.
• Degree or Diploma in Nautical Science; COP required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the operations team, setting priorities and ensuring fleet coverage.
• Plan, monitor and execute voyages, coordinating laycan, port rotation, and cargo readiness.
• Coordinate cargo loading across the fleet, assess compatibility and sequencing.
• Issue voyage instructions and provide guidance to masters on loading, stowage, and port formalities.
• Monitor safety, compliance and risk; oversee incident investigation and root-cause actions.
