Job summary

DECOMET METAL FINISHING PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a delivery driver to perform daily delivery and collection of goods across Singapore, including Ang Mo Kio. You will verify delivery orders and ensure safe handling and transport of goods.

Must hold a Singapore Class 3 license and be familiar with local roads. The role requires independence, physical fitness for loading/unloading, and willingness to assist with production tasks when not delivering.

Qualifications

• Singaporean or PR status required.
• Valid Class 3 driving license.
• Experience driving a Class 3 manual lorry.
• Familiar with Singapore roads and industrial areas.
• Physically able to load/unload goods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect goods across Singapore as daily duties.
• Verify DOs: description, part number, and quantity for accuracy.
• Ensure goods are secured and transported safely.
• Plan and coordinate delivery routes to meet deadlines.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and general condition.
• Assist with ad-hoc production duties and general operational tasks when not delivering.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the QC/Production Manager or Management.

Location: Singapore (Ang Mo Kio)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily delivery and collection of goods from customers across Singapore.


• Verify the description, part number, and quantity of goods collected or delivered against the corresponding Delivery Orders (DOs) to ensure accuracy.


• Ensure goods are properly handled, secured and transported safely to prevent damage.


• Plan and coordinate delivery and collection routes to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.


• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the company vehicle.


• Assist with ad-hoc production duties and general operational tasks when not performing delivery or collection duties.


• Carry out other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the QC/Production Manager or Management.

Requirements

• Singaporean or PR applicants only.


• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license and experience driving a Class 3 manual lorry.


• Familiar with Singapore roads and industrial areas.


• Physically fit and able to handle loading and unloading of goods.


• Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently.


• Willing to assist with production and other operational duties when required.
