Job summary

AIK CHIN HIN MACHINERY CO is seeking a Delivery Lorry Driver in Singapore to perform daily deliveries of machinery, equipment, and materials. The role requires handling loading/unloading, route planning, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining vehicle safety and accurate documentation.

The successful candidate will have a Class 3/4 driving licence, 1–2 years of delivery experience, physical fitness, and a responsible, safety-conscious approach.

Qualifications

• Valid Singapore Class 3/4 driving licence.
• 1–2 years of lorry driving or delivery experience.
• Experience handling machinery or bulky items is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Singapore roads and traffic laws.
• Physically fit and able to load/unload goods.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Able to follow delivery schedules and complete documentation.

Responsibilities

• Drive company lorry to deliver goods, machinery, equipment, and materials to customers, suppliers, and project sites.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure the lorry is in safe and roadworthy condition.
• Load, unload, secure, and transport goods safely to prevent damage during transportation.
• Check delivery orders, invoices, and other relevant documents before and after delivery.
• Obtain customers’ acknowledgement and signatures for completed deliveries.
• Plan delivery routes and ensure goods are delivered on time.
• Assist with loading and unloading of heavy or bulky items when required.
• Follow all traffic laws, company safety procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the company vehicle.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, damages, or maintenance issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Send vehicles for servicing, inspection, repairs, or maintenance as instructed.
• Assist the warehouse or operations team with packing, moving, and arranging goods when required.
• Perform other delivery, transport, and general duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Requirements

• Good knowledge of Singapore roads and traffic regulations.
• Physically fit and able to handle loading and unloading of goods.
• Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Able to work independently and follow delivery schedules.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to complete delivery documentation accurately.
• Candidates with a clean driving record will be preferred.
