Job summary

COOLEN MARKETING PTE LTD is seeking a delivery driver to handle daily product deliveries to company outlets and warehouses. You will plan routes, ensure on-time and safe arrivals, and assist with loading and unloading as needed.

The role requires a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license, a clean driving record, and the ability to work independently. Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required based on operations.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license.
• Have a good driving record and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Familiarity with Singapore roads, industrial areas, and retail locations is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to carry, load, and unload goods when required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products, ingredients, packaging materials, and other goods to company outlets, warehouses, and designated locations according to the delivery schedule.
• Plan delivery routes efficiently to minimise travel time and ensure timely delivery.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods from the delivery vehicle and check quantities against orders.
• Verify delivery orders, invoices, and other documents and obtain acknowledgements or signatures; report discrepancies promptly.
• Conduct basic vehicle checks, keep the vehicle clean, and comply with local traffic laws and company policies.
• Support basic warehouse duties and inventory checks when required and cooperate with warehouse and operations teams.

Job Responsibilities:

Delivery & Transportation

• Deliver products, ingredients, packaging materials, and other goods to company outlets, warehouses, and designated locations according to the delivery schedule.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
• Plan delivery routes efficiently to minimise travel time and ensure timely delivery.

Loading & Unloading

• Assist with loading and unloading goods from the delivery vehicle.
• Check delivery quantities against delivery orders and ensure all items are handled properly.
• Ensure goods are transported and stored appropriately to prevent damage.
• Delivery Documentation
• Verify delivery orders, invoices, and other relevant documents.
• Obtain acknowledgements or signatures from receiving outlets or personnel.
• Report any discrepancies, missing items, damaged goods, or delivery issues promptly.

Vehicle Maintenance & Safety

• Conduct basic vehicle checks before and after each trip.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean, tidy, and in good working condition.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance requirements to the supervisor immediately.
• Comply with Singapore traffic laws, road safety requirements, and company driving policies.
• Warehouse & Operations Support
• Assist with basic warehouse duties, stock arrangement, and inventory checks when required.
• Support other delivery and operational tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Work closely with the warehouse and operations teams to ensure smooth daily delivery operations.
