Job summary

SYSTMZ PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced CAD drafter to produce 2D/3D concept, schematic and detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD, Revit and BIM. You will follow the project schedule and ensure drawings meet design intent before submission.

Role involves updating drawing sets, coordinating with designers and clients on changes, and generating project documentation such as BOQ and progress updates. Specialist Diploma in Construction Productivity (BCA Academy) is required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in creating 2D/3D drawings and shop drawings.
• Ability to check drawings before submission for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D/3D concept, schematic, detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD/Revit/BIM
• Work according to project schedule
• Meticulously check all drawings before submission
• Maintain, update and edit drawing sets according to feedback from consultant/client
• Drawings logs and relevant documents updated and filed in server
• Ensure dimensions of fitments/fixtures/materials/equipment drawn fit and report mismatches
• Liaise with designers and other stakeholders to capture approved design changes
• Assist to oversee project from start to finish
• Generate schedules, progress updates, BOQ, material lists and file in server
• Ensure construction activities progress according to site schedule and design intent
• Communicate with contractors responsible for completing phases
• Monitor progress and hold status meetings with sub-teams
• Serve as link with clients with Project Manager
• Review deliverables prepared by the team
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor/Project Manager
• Candidate must possess a Specialist Diploma in Construction Productivity awarded by BCA Academy

Job description

1. Prepare 2D/3D concept, schematic, detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD/Revit/BIM
2. Work according to project schedule
3. Meticulously check all drawings before submission
4. Maintain, update and edit drawing sets according to feedback from consultant/client
5. Drawings logs and relevant documents has to be updated, maintained and filed in server
6. Ensure dimensions of fitments / fixtures/ materials/ equipment drawn will fit and feedback if there is mismatch
7. Liaise with designers and other stakeholders to capture approved design changes
8. Assist to oversee project from start to finish
9. Generating proper and professional paper works related to running projects eg. Schedules, progress updates, BOQ, material list etc and filed in server
10. Ensure that construction activities progress according to site schedule and design intention
11. Communicate effectively with the contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project
12. Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meeting with all the sub-teams
13. Serve as a link with the clients with Project manager
14. Review the deliverables prepared by the team
15. Any other duties assigned by supervisor / Project Manager
