Job summary

PRO-MATRIX PTE LTD is seeking a detail-oriented drafter to support design and construction of mission-critical facilities in Singapore. The role involves direct collaboration with clients, consultants, and authorities, coordinating M&E interfaces, and producing 3D/2D drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.

You will contribute to all project stages—from feasibility through construction drawings, with periodic site involvement, accuracy checks, and QA/QC of drawings. Travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Eye for detail and strong technical base knowledge.
• Ability to coordinate with M&E services in design and construction of facilities.
• Familiarity with Singapore Planning Guidelines and Building Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Work across all design stages (Feasibility, Conceptual, Schematic, Design & Build).
• Collaborate directly with clients, consultants, statutory authorities, and contractors.
• Produce and update design drawings and shop drawings in 3D/2D platforms (Revit and AutoCAD).
• Assist with field inspections, measurements, and calculations.
• Prepare and review construction materials, shop drawings, and MoS; coordinate drawings with stakeholders.

Job description

• Have an eye for detail and have a good technical base knowledge. The role will involve working on all work stages of various contract types (Design, Build, Design & Build) you should be confident working directly with clients, consultants, statutory authorities, and contractors of the specific site / country.
• Requires coordination / Clash-Deduction with M&E services in the design and construction of Mission-critical facilities.
• Have a good working knowledge of CP83, current Singapore Planning Guidelines, Building Regulations and Technical Standards.
• Working on the production of a Feasibility Study, Conceptual, Schematic design, and technical drawing packages (Design Drawing, Construction Drawing & Shop Drawings).
• You need to use both the Autodesk Revit (3D) and AutoCAD (2D) daily.
• Assists with research and complies with project-related data as required.
• Assists with correcting and updating drawings provided by Architectural Consultants / Designers to ensure corrections are made within multiple software platforms.
• Assists with client presentations, renderings, and simulations as required.
• Assists in performing field inspections, measurements, or calculations.
• Prepare & Review of construction material / shop drawing / MoS.
• Shop drawing / Construction drawing coordination of Architectural, Interior and MEP drawings with sub-con/vendor & other stakeholders.
• Periodical inspection (internal check for quality improvement).
• Handover submission arrangement with drafter team and project team (As build DWG).
• Required to learn and adopt working in Cloud, Design Collaboration, Model coordination and QA/QC own work.
• Depending on project need, this position may be located On-Site or Off-Site and requires frequent travel to the project site.
• All other duties as assigned.
