REEDY ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a drafting professional to prepare precise 2D drawings and 3D models from design specs and site measurements.

You will develop construction, fabrication, shop, and as-built drawings while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with project standards. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD for producing and modifying drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and construction drawings accurately.
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical knowledge are considered.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 2D drawings and 3D models from design specifications, sketches, site measurements, and engineering requirements.
• Develop construction, fabrication, shop, and as-built drawings for projects.
• Modify and update drawings based on feedback from engineers, project managers, clients, and consultants.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, relevant standards, and company requirements.
• Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural, M&E, and other relevant disciplines to ensure integration.
• Assist project and engineering teams with drawing preparation, documentation, and technical submissions.
• Conduct site measurements and prepare drawings reflecting actual site conditions as needed.
• Maintain revision control and issue the latest drawings to relevant parties.
• Organize and maintain drawing files, CAD files, and project documentation systematically.
• Liaise with site personnel, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve drawing and technical issues.
• Perform additional drafting and technical duties assigned by the Project Manager or Engineer

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or a related field
• Proficient in AutoCAD for producing and modifying technical drawings
• Ability to read and interpret technical, construction, and engineering drawings accurately
• Strong understanding of dimensions, scale, drawing standards, and technical details
• Attention to detail and accuracy in drawing production
• Effective communication and coordination skills to collaborate with project teams
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Knowledge of Revit, SolidWorks, SketchUp, or other CAD/BIM software to enhance drawing capabilities
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant drafting experience; fresh graduates with relevant technical knowledge are also considered
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a project team environment
