Job summary

Syntax Enclosure Systems PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineering graduate to support 3D modelling and technical drawings for structural and mechanical projects using CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

You will assist with design, documentation, and coordination with engineers. The role requires reading and interpreting drawings, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines while collaborating with the engineering

Qualifications

• Diploma/Nitec in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Preparation of 3D models and technical drawings for structural and mechanical projects using CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Supports design, documentation, and coordination with the engineering team.
• Interpret design specifications for structural and mechanical components.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, sales and project managers to ensure designs comply with local Singapore regulations and international standards.
• Maintain a well-organized filing system and ensure proper control of technical documentation and project records.
• Take parts in project meeting, design review, and improvement initiatives when required.
• Any ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma/Higher Nitec/Nitec in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Entry level or individuals without prior experience are welcome to apply.
• Proficient in using SolidWorks, AutoCAD or other relevant CAD software to create 3D models for fabrication, testing and commissioning.
• Proficient in graphics rendering using 3D modelling software such as Blender, and Visualize to create realistic visualizations will be an added advantage.
• Capable of reading and interpreting engineering and architectural drawings accurately.
• Exhibits strong attention to detail coupled with excellent organizational skills.
• Able to perform effectively under pressure, managing multiple drawing releases to meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrates critical thinking to address and resolve fundamental design challenges.
