Job summary

Redtec Industries Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a draughtsperson to support engineering and project teams by preparing and maintaining technical drawings using SolidWorks/CAD.

Fresh or recent graduates are welcome; the role involves producing 2D drawings, basic 3D models, checking accuracy, and coordinating with engineering and production. Working hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional extended hours during deadlines.

Qualifications

• Higher Nitec or relevant qualification in Civil & Structural Engineering Design, Drafting, or other building-related discipline.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks and/or CAD drafting software.
• Able to read and understand basic engineering and technical drawings.
• Basic understanding of dimensions, tolerances and drawing conventions.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office for basic documentation.
• Fresh or recent graduates are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with relevant drafting/project experience will have an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update engineering and technical drawings using SolidWorks/CAD.
• Produce 2D drawings and basic 3D models based on project requirements, sketches and specifications.
• Modify and revise existing drawings according to project changes and instructions.
• Prepare drawing details, dimensions and other information required for fabrication and project execution.
• Assist the Engineering and Project teams in preparing drawings for customer submissions and internal use.
• Check drawings for accuracy, dimensions and completeness before submission.
• Maintain proper drawing revisions, records and documentation.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production and other internal departments on drawing-related matters.
• Support project documentation and other engineering-related activities when required.
• Perform other duties or assignments as instructed by the superior.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

No regular overtime is required.
