Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for M&E drawings in 2D and 3D
• Proficiency in Microsoft software applications
• Higher Nitec in Integrated Mechanical & Electrical Design or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction shop and as-built drawings to support project execution
• Create and maintain a comprehensive services library for reference and standardization
• Develop detailed mechanical design drawings aligned with project specifications
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to clarify and incorporate design requirements
• Revise and update drawings based on engineers’ instructions and site conditions
• Conduct site checks to verify drawing dimensions against real-world conditions
• Coordinate drafting activities to meet project timelines
• Document, update and maintain all drawings per project revision controls

Job Summary

Prepare and revise detailed mechanical and construction drawings for M&E systems, collaborating with engineers and project teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction shop and as-built drawings to support project execution
• Create and maintain a comprehensive services library for reference and standardization
• Develop detailed mechanical design drawings aligned with project specifications
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to clarify and incorporate design requirements
• Revise and update drawings based on engineers’ instructions, site conditions, and project team feedback to reflect actual site conditions
• Conduct site checks to verify drawing dimensions and ensure accuracy against real-world conditions
• Resolve technical queries related to drafting and coordinate drafting activities to meet project timelines
• Document, update, and maintain all drawings in accordance with project revision controls and requirements
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards and guidelines
• Assist in preparing drawings, reports, and project documentation for official submissions
• Coordinate effectively with internal teams to ensure drawing accuracy and consistency
• Work independently to manage assigned drafting tasks and deliverables

Required competencies and certifications

• Higher Nitec in Integrated Mechanical & Electrical Design or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience drafting M&E systems and services
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for M&E drawings in both 2D and 3D (e.g., AutoCAD or SolidWorks)
• Proficiency in Microsoft software applications
