Job summary

Global Industrial Support Pte Ltd is seeking an Operations Coordinator to assist the Operation Manager in managing dormitory operations, manpower and resources. The role ensures a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment, with emphasis on inspections, compliance and resident coordination.

You will liaise with employers, coordinate with cleaners and maintenance, and support regulatory inspections such as MOM/FEDA as required. Independent work with minimal supervision is essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in workers' dormitory operations, facilities management, property management or operations.
• Knowledge of MOM/FEDA requirements.
• Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with migrant workers.
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Able to conduct physical inspections around the dormitory.
• Must be able to follow up on outstanding matters until they are fully resolved.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to respond to urgent dormitory matters when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support daily dormitory operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, toilets, common areas and dormitory facilities.
• Ensure cleanliness, housekeeping, safety and upkeep of the premises.
• Monitor residents' compliance with dormitory rules and requirements.
• Follow up on defects, repairs and maintenance until completion.
• Monitor safety facilities including emergency exits, exit lights and fire safety equipment.
• Handle workers' check-in/check-out and room allocation.
• Maintain accurate occupancy and resident records.
• Attend to residents' feedback, complaints and operational matters.
• Liaise with employers/companies regarding their workers and accommodation matters.
• Coordinate with cleaners, maintenance personnel, contractors and service providers.
• Assist with MOM, FEDA and other regulatory inspections and requirements.
• Maintain proper inspection checklists, incident reports and compliance records.
• Follow up immediately on non-compliance and rectification works.
• Assist in emergency and incident management when required.
• Perform other dormitory and operational duties assigned by management.
