Job summary

Promisedland Community Services seeks a Donor Relations Officer to cultivate, steward, and expand donor partnerships. You will combine fundraising strategy with personalized engagement to show donors the impact of their support.

Responsibilities include designing stewardship plans, drafting proposals, and reporting on outcomes. You will liaise with programs to craft donor‑friendly stories and track contributions while driving upgrades and long‑term giving.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred).
• Experience in fundraising, sales, or donor relations is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, donor databases, and digital communication tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and philanthropic partners.
• Design and implement donor stewardship plans, including personalized communications, appreciation events, and impact reporting.
• Draft compelling proposals, donor updates, and fundraising appeals.
• Collaborate with program teams to translate project outcomes into donor‑friendly stories.
• Track donor contributions, prepare reports, and ensure governance and financial standards.
• Identify opportunities for donor upgrades and long‑term giving commitments.
• Support fundraising campaigns and events, ensuring donor participation and recognition.
• Monitor donor trends and recommend strategies to enhance engagement.
