Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Develop the store management team within the district to deliver legendary customer experiences in all stores.
  • Creates district implementation plans to support execution of regional and company initiatives to achieve both operational excellence and business results. Follows up consistently to ensure accountability to plans.
  • Monitors and manages district-wide management staffing levels. Ensures management-level partner development and talent acquisition in order to achieve and maintain district operational requirements.
  • Utilize existing tools to identify and priority communications and filters communications to the store management team within the district. Communicates clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective operations at the store and district level.
  • Drive the implementation of company programs by motivating and supporting the store management team within the district to develop and implement action plans that meet operational and organizational objectives.
  • Provides strategic direction to Outlet Managers, as needed, establishing and accomplishing business objectives. Leadership to ensure factors/standards/brand identity is achieved.
  • Plan, identify, communicate and delegate key responsibilities and practices to the store management team to ensure smooth flow of operations within the district.
  • Improves or maintains quality of service by establishing and enforcing organization and service standards.
  • Review store environments and key business indicators within the district to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement in order to provide coaching to the store management team to take action and achieve operational goals.
  • Serves customers by establishing critical service factors; maintaining quality service and operations; analyzing, defining, developing, and providing systems and resources; assessing results; anticipating trends.
  • Drives and accomplishes objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections.
  • Access external resources to support district-wide operations and to execute district initiatives such as Marketing, Finance, Real Estate, and Store Development.
  • Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the Company.
  • Utilize management information tools and analyzes financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in district performance.
  • Coordinates efforts of establishing a cooperative operational approach to procurement, production, Strategy and Creative processes and technical and information services processes.
  • Working to ensure standards of hygiene are maintained and that the outlets comply with health and safety regulations and energy management;
  • Handling customer complaints and queries; devising and marketing promotional campaigns; and working closely with the marketing manager on devising and marketing promotional campaigns
  • People management: Recruiting new staff, training and developing existing staff, motivating and encouraging staff to achieve targets, coordinating staff scheduling.
  • HR coordination

Engage in recruitment drives and activities to continuously build a pool of full time and part time staffs.

Research and apply strategies that will help in support our manpower needs.

Collaborate with the HR Manager to identify training needs and competency gaps

  • Financial management : Planning and working on budgets, maximizing profits and achieving sales targets set by head office, administering payrolls, KPI’s etc;
  • Develops an operating budget for each of the district’s revenue outlets; after approval, monitors and takes corrective action as necessary to help assure that budget goals are attained.
  • Responsible for the proper accounting and reconciliation of the Point of Sale systems and member revenues
  • Conducts briefings and performance appraisals to gauge management team’s knowledge and guide them towards their career path.
  • Assists Outlet Managers in preparing the monthly and yearly Food and Beverage division budget.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the team and the company
  • Develops on-going professional development and training programs for food production, service and production/service personnel
  • Acts as a supporting & rotating role to perform duties of the Artist, and Prep as needed.
  • Reports to : Operations Director/ Operations Manager
  • Supervises: Outlet Managers / Supervisor/ Salad Artist/ Cashier.
Requirements:
  • Has excellent conversational skills and knowledge in the English language
  • Has a sense of leadership and ownership
  • Has pleasing personality and with sense of urgency and responsibility
  • At least a Diploma holder or of equivalent educational attainment
  • Has at least 3 years of managerial experience in the F&B industry
