Job summary

Urban Facility Services in Singapore is seeking a proactive Dishwashing Supervisor to oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure cleanliness and efficiency in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and shift flexibility to cover weekends and public holidays; you will coordinate with kitchen and operations, monitor hygiene and safety, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dishwashing, kitchen operations, cleaning or hospitality operations.
• Supervisory or team-leading experience preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily dishwashing operations and cleaning activities.
• Lead and allocate duties to dishwashing staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor work quality, productivity, hygiene and safety standards.
• Ensure proper handling, cleaning and storage of crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment.
• Monitor equipment, cleaning supplies and inventory, and report shortages or faults.
• Train and guide staff on proper cleaning procedures, hygiene and workplace safety.
• Ensure staff follow company policies and client requirements.
• Coordinate with kitchen and operations teams to maintain smooth workflow.
• Handle operational issues and resolve staff or service-related matters promptly.
• Maintain daily attendance, work records and operational reports.
• Conduct regular checks and ensure the work area is clean, organized and safe.
