Job summary

Abundant Productions seeks a seasoned creative lead to sculpt briefs into treatments and scripts, direct shoots, and shepherd projects from concept to final cut. You’ll be the creative anchor, pitching ideas and inspiring the team on set, in the edit suite, and everywhere in between.

You’ll lead crews and editors, present to clients and agencies, and drive projects through pre-pro, production and post, ensuring storytelling that resonates and delivers results.

Qualifications

• Has real runs on the board directing commercials/branded content.
• Strong storytelling chops beyond scripts.
• Confident on set and leading a team.
• Able to talk to clients and agencies without losing creative spine.
• Able to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• A compelling reel required.

Responsibilities

• Turning client and agency briefs into sharp, story-driven concepts
• Writing scripts for commercials and/or documentaries
• Directing shoots and owning the creative vision start to finish
• Leading crew, editors and producers to get the best out of every project
• Being the face of the creative for clients and agencies — presenting ideas, taking feedback, building trust
• Jumping into pitches and treatments to help win new work
• Steering projects through pre-pro, production and post to keep quality high
