Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Director, Pre-Construction, APAC to lead the Design, Engineering and Construction efforts across the APAC region. You will drive master planning, permitting, and early contractor involvement, coordinating with NSD, SSA and stakeholders to align with corporate objectives and delivery timelines.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive pre-construction experience in data centers, and a track record of managing complex programs from concept through readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or similar field required.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in a management role required; 10 to 15 years preferred.
• Data center or related complex construction experience preferred.
• Experience in CSA and MEP construction management required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools such as MS Project or P6.
• Experience developing executive-level presentations.
• PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and planning approval processes, including master and precinct planning, development planning, and construction permitting.
• Support utilities provisioning negotiations, with emphasis on power and networking with NSD.
• Partner with project teams to deliver Tier III data centers at optimum cost and design parameters.
• Collaborate with Project Controls on programme, cost, buildability and ECIs.
• Manage build partners through technical feedback and budget management during pre-construction.
