Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Director, Pre-Construction, APAC to lead the pre-construction phase for new and existing data center developments across Asia Pacific. You will guide master planning, design inputs, entitlement, permitting, and engagement with NSD, SSA, consultants and contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive construction management experience, data center familiarity, and proficiency with project controls, ECI, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in construction management or similar; 7–10 years in management, 10–15 preferred.
• Complex and technical construction experience; data center exposure preferred.
• Experience in CSA and MEP construction management; PMP certification advantageous.
• Proficiency with MS Project or Primavera P6; capable of executive-level presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and planning approval processes for multiple sites.
• Support utilities provisioning and power/network negotiations with NSD.
• Coordinate with project teams to deliver Tier III data centers at optimal cost.
• Oversee pre-construction programmes, schedule, and budget with ECIs.
• Manage build partners and procurement strategies for services and equipment.
• Develop master construction programmes and drive continuous improvement.
