Job summary

BotX Innovation in Singapore is seeking a senior procurement leader to design procurement frameworks, policies, and SOPs, and to establish category strategies for direct and indirect spend. You will drive supplier performance and risk management while leading strategic sourcing and enterprise-level negotiations to optimize cost and total cost of ownership.

You will also build a high-performing procurement team, foster cross-functional collaboration, and travel within Southeast Asia as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive procurement experience in automotive electronics.
• Hands-on experience building procurement functions from scratch; knowledge of APAC/SEA markets.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills; fluent in English; Mandarin a plus for collaboration.
• Ability to travel within Southeast Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design of procurement frameworks, policies, and SOPs, establish category strategies for direct and indirect spend, and implement supplier performance and risk management frameworks.
• Drive strategic sourcing and enterprise-level contract negotiations to deliver cost reduction and total cost of ownership optimization without compromising quality or delivery.
• Build and manage the supplier base through regular audits and performance reviews, cultivating strategic partnerships within the automotive electronics ecosystem.
• Develop and lead a high-performing procurement team by defining roles and career paths while fostering continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

About you

• Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive procurement experience, a proven track record in the automotive electronics industry.
• Hands-on experience building procurement functions from scratch, deep knowledge of APAC/SEA supply markets.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills, fluency in English (Mandarin is a plus for collaboration with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders).
• The ability to travel within Southeast Asia.
