Job summary

RN Care Pte. Ltd. is seeking a senior procurement leader to drive procurement for Singapore and Malaysia, coach the team, and ensure effective execution.

The role focuses on KPI performance, supplier selection, and strategic sourcing to deliver cost and quality improvements across regions. You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Operations on supplier qualification and NPI, while managing supplier relationships across multiple countries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement/supply chain experience in engineer-to-order manufacturing, OEM or aerospace.
• Experience managing ~USD100M in direct spend with ~5% cost savings.
• Managed 50-100 suppliers across multiple countries.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement organization for Singapore and Malaysia operations with coaching and escalation support.
• Drive procurement KPI performance including OTD, delinquency, PPV, and cost variance.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for competitive advantage.
• Lead regional sourcing activities with accountability for decisions and targets.
• Build strong supplier relationships and drive corrective action and improvements.
• Negotiate to meet quality, productivity, and cost objectives while managing risk.
• Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and services aligned with policies.
• Analyze market conditions and pricing trends to inform sourcing decisions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Operations on supplier qualification and NPI.
• Prepare bid packages and coach team on sourcing strategies and negotiations.
• Support cross-functional initiatives aligned with supply chain goals.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Lead the procurement organization for Singapore and Malaysia operations, providing coaching, direction, and escalation support to ensure effective execution and team development.
• Drive procurement KPI performance, including on-time delivery (OTD), delinquency, push/pull/cancel actions, late release, and purchase price variance (PPV), aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies that deliver competitive advantage, including supplier selection, development, consolidation, and implementation of strategic supplier initiatives.
• Lead Global Purchase Family or Regional Commodity sourcing activities, with full accountability for sourcing decisions, material deflation targets, and alignment with global and regional strategies.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure performance expectations are met across cost, quality, delivery, and risk; lead corrective action and supplier improvement initiatives as required.
• Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers to achieve quality, fulfillment, productivity, and cost objectives while managing contractual and commercial risk.
• Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, services, and supplies necessary to support manufacturing and operational requirements, ensuring compliance with internal policies and standards.
• Analyze market conditions, cost drivers, supplier capabilities, and pricing trends to inform sourcing decisions and negotiation strategies.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Operations to support supplier qualification, NPI activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and review bid packages, and coach procurement team members on sourcing strategies, negotiations, and supplier engagement as needed.
• Support cross-functional and business initiatives as assigned, including special projects aligned with supply chain and operational excellence goals.
• Other related duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• Min 5 years of procurement /supply chain experience in engineer-to-order manufacturing, OEM or aerospace environment
• Experience managing ~USD100M in direct spend with a proven track record of ~5% cost savings.
• Managed 50-100 suppliers across multiple countries
