Job summary

Michael Page International Pte Ltd is seeking a senior procurement leader to develop long-term category strategies for a high-value portfolio in advanced technology manufacturing. You will shape supplier innovation, drive cost reduction, and lead a global team across regions.

You will partner with executives across operations, engineering, and finance to deliver procurement objectives, manage supplier risk, and pursue continuous improvements in total cost of ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business; MBA advantageous.
• 10+ years in procurement, sourcing or category management in electronics/manufacturing.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in procurement or category teams.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing and category programmes.
• Experience driving cost reduction, supplier development and Total Cost Ownership.
• Strong stakeholder management with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Negotiation of high-value contracts and supplier agreements.
• Experience managing supplier risk, performance and continuity strategies.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline MBA is advantageous.
• Minimally 10 years of procurement, sourcing, or category management experience within semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, capital equipment, or a related advanced manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing procurement or category management teams.
• Strong track record of developing and executing strategic sourcing and category management programmes.
• Experience driving cost reduction, supplier development, and total cost ownership initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage complex cross-functional projects.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating high-value contracts and supplier agreements.
• Demonstrated experience managing supplier risk, performance, and business continuity strategies.
