Job summary

RGA is a Fortune 200 company focused on life- and health-related reinsurance solutions, seeking an Associate Director to drive in-force business management across Hong Kong and Singapore. You will analyze portfolios, promote consistent treaty interpretation, and support client engagement and governance of portfolio actions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, math, stats, finance or related field.
At least five years in life insurance or reinsurance with pricing and in-force knowledge.
Ability to translate portfolio analysis into actionable business recommendations.
Strong organisational, delivery-oriented approach under pressure.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management; English proficiency.
FSA qualification or progress toward it preferred.

Responsibilities

Support execution of in-force strategy across HK and SG to improve portfolio performance.
Ensure consistent treaty interpretation for portfolio management and decisions.
Monitor portfolio performance and identify trends; provide clear analysis and recommendations.
Prepare for client engagement discussions on treaty terms and rate review opportunities.
Coordinate with Pricing, BD, IFM, Data Admin, Treaty, Underwriting on portfolio initiatives.
Review treaty provisions; identify areas needing clarification and align with objectives.
Conduct portfolio performance analyses and support management reviews with insights.
Monitor portfolio reporting and data quality; escalate issues and strengthen governance.
