The Director, HR technology strategy, systems, workforce analytics, data governance, AI initiatives, and digital transformation agenda. Partnering closely with business leaders, the role drives innovation across the employee lifecycle by optimising HR operations, enhancing employee experience, and enabling data-driven decision-making. The incumbent oversees the governance, implementation, integration, and continuous enhancement of HR technology platforms while championing the adoption of AI, automation, and intelligent digital solutions to build a future‑ready HR function.
Lead and develop the HR technology roadmap aligned with organisational objectives and workforce strategy.
Lead the ongoing evolution of HR systems, digital capabilities, and workforce technologies.
Evaluate emerging HR technologies and recommend solutions that improve operational efficiency, employee experience, and business outcomes.
Provide governance of HR systems, including Core HR, Talent Management, Payroll, Learning, Compensation, Performance Management, Time & Attendance, Workforce Management, and Employee Self-Service platforms.
Ensure data integrity, system reliability, scalability, and compliance with organisational standards.
Ensure timely HRIS upgrades, enhancements, testing, and change releases.
Lead HR digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives to simplify, standardise, redesign, and automate HR processes and workflows.
Promote Team Members and Manager self‑service capabilities to enhance productivity and user experience.
Partner with stakeholders on the selection, implementation, and management of digital solutions and vendors.
Develop and execute the HR AI strategy and roadmap, identifying and implementing enterprise AI applications that support business transformation and improve HR service delivery, employee engagement, workforce planning, talent management, and decision‑making.
Lead the adoption of Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions, to automate HR workflows, onboarding, recruitment administration, reporting, and employee support services.
Drive innovation through AI‑powered employee experiences, virtual assistants, digital knowledge management, and intelligent automation.
Lead workforce and predictive analytics, strategic reporting, and the development of HR dashboards and executive reports to support business and workforce decisions.
Leverage AI and advanced analytics to identify workforce trends, risks, skills gaps, retention drivers, and talent opportunities.
Deliver actionable insights to support workforce planning and organisational effectiveness.
Partner with IT to manage integrations between HR, Payroll, Finance, Identity Management, Learning, and operational systems.
Evaluate and implement cloud‑based and API‑driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Protect sensitive employee data through robust access controls and security measures.
Support internal and external audits relating to HR systems, data governance, and AI controls.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing HRIS team.
Build organisational capability in HR technology, AI literacy, and digital skills.
Influence senior stakeholders and drive change adoption across the organization.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master’s degree and/or relevant certifications in HR technology, project management, change management, analytics, cloud platforms, or AI will be an advantage.
Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in HR technology, HRIS, digital transformation, workforce analytics, or related fields, including at least 5-8 years in a senior leadership capacity.
Proven track record in HR technology strategy, large‑scale HRIS implementations, systems integration, process transformation, automation, and AI‑enabled solutions.
Experience leading cloud‑based HCM platforms, data governance, cybersecurity, compliance, vendor management, and cross‑functional stakeholder engagement.
Deep expertise in HR technology, cloud platforms, systems integration, digital employee experience, and emerging technologies.
Strong understanding of AI, automation, workforce analytics, and data‑driven decision‑making.
Demonstrated strength in programme delivery, change management, process improvement, and vendor partnerships.
Strategic and influential leader with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and execution capabilities, supported by sound knowledge of data governance, privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.
