Job summary

Adecco Group, on behalf of a Singapore-based private equity fund, seeks a Director to own the asset-backed finance investment lifecycle end to end, working closely with the CEO. Responsibilities

• Structure bespoke financing across senior debt, subordinated debt, convertible instruments, and equity-linked instruments.
• Lead borrower engagement throughout the transaction lifecycle from initial dialogue through to credit approval and execution.
• Evaluate pipeline opportunities against mandate, risk appetite, pricing thresholds, and collateral quality and enforceability.
• Lead investment committee and credit approval processes, including stress testing and return analysis.

The Job

This is a director level role to lead the full investment lifecycle across sourcing, underwriting, structuring, execution of transactions and portfolio monitoring of secured asset-backed finance instruments.

Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue term sheets for prospective credit transactions, ensuring terms are commercially competitive and aligned with the fund's investment strategy.
• Structure bespoke financing solutions across senior debt, subordinated debt, convertible instruments, and equity-linked instruments, optimizing downside protection and recovery pathways
• Prepare and issue term sheets for prospective credit transactions, ensuring terms are commercially competitive and aligned with the fund's investment strategy.
• Lead and manage borrower engagement throughout the transaction lifecycle, acting as the primary point of contact from initial dialogue through to credit approval and execution
• Evaluate pipeline opportunities against mandate, risk appetite, pricing thresholds, and collateral quality and enforceability to form investment recommendations
• Lead investment committee and credit approval processes, incorporating stress testing, recovery analysis, and return assessment

The Talent

• Strong experience in credit structuring, leveraged finance, direct lending or a related field within investment banking, private credit or asset management.
• Proven track record of originating, structuring and executing credit transactions across the capital structure.
• Strong understanding of credit documentation, legal processes and the roles of key transaction parties.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
