We are partnering with an established regional bank to appoint a SVP, Structured Finance in Singapore.
This is a senior origination and structuring role focused on delivering financing solutions across corporate and institutional clients in Asia.
The successful candidate will work closely with relationship and product teams to originate, structure and execute transactions across structured financing, acquisition and leveraged financing, project financing and other bespoke lending solutions.
Responsibilities
- Originate, structure and execute financing solutions for corporate and institutional clients across Singapore and the region.
- Structure transactions across acquisition financing, structured lending, project financing and other event-driven or bespoke financing situations.
- Work closely with Relationship Managers to identify financing opportunities within existing and prospective client relationships.
- Lead transaction structuring, including financial analysis, credit assessment, pricing and preparation of credit proposals.
- Coordinate the end-to-end execution process with internal credit, legal, risk and product teams.
- Develop relationships with corporates, financial sponsors, banks and other market participants.
- Support the continued development of the bank’s Capital Solutions franchise and regional financing capabilities.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
- Approximately 10–15+ years of relevant experience within Corporate Banking, Structured Finance, Leveraged / Acquisition Finance or a related financing role.
- Strong track record in originating, structuring and executing complex financing transactions.
- Strong credit and financial analysis capabilities with good understanding of loan documentation.
- Established relationships with corporate clients, financial sponsors and/or relevant market participants.
- Strong commercial judgement and ability to independently manage transactions from origination through closing.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Prior experience covering Singapore and/or Southeast Asian markets would be advantageous.
