Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks a Director to lead the PDE Advance Packaging NPI team, overseeing all phases from strategy to qualification for advanced packaging technologies.

You will coordinate with Process Engineering, Process Integration, MRDA, PCS, and Quality to ensure on-time product qualification and transition to high-volume manufacturing. The role requires strong leadership, global collaboration across geographies, and a data-driven approach to drive design for manufacturability,

Qualifications

• 10+ years in semiconductor manufacturing, with strong background in process engineering, NPI, or technology development.
• 5+ years in a people leadership role (Manager or Director) with success managing multi-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of backend/assembly semiconductor processes and NPI phase gate frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI execution for advanced packaging technologies and ensure on-time qualification into High Volume Manufacturing.
• Define strategic direction for the PDE NPI team and oversee milestones and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Global Quality, Site Manufacturing, and central planning to align NPI strategy and drive risk mitigation.
