Job summary

NTT Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a diligent Digital QA Tester to own quality for mobile and web applications on a 12-month contract.

You will design and execute test scenarios across platforms, track defects in Jira, and collaborate with Product Owners and developers to ensure release readiness. The role emphasizes end-to-end testing, risk identification, and adherence to agile processes. This position supports digital banking platforms in Singapore and offers a structured testing workflow

Qualifications

Digital QA Tester – Mobile & Web Applications

We are looking for a curious, detail-oriented Digital QA Tester who takes ownership of quality and thinks beyond executing test cases. You should be able to assess whether a solution makes sense from both user and business perspectives, proactively highlight risks and work with the delivery team on practical solutions.

This is a 12-month contract position with NTT Singapore, supporting the digital banking platforms of a leading financial institution in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria, and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Cover positive, negative, edge, error and end-to-end scenarios where applicable.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end and user-journey testing across digital platforms.
• Prepare test scenarios, test data, expected results and supporting evidence.
• Validate new features and enhancements across applicable devices, operating systems and browsers.
• Identify, document and track defects, test steps and test outcomes in Jira.
• Work closely with Product Owners, developers, business users and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
• Report testing progress, including test cases planned, executed, passed or failed, and defects raised or closed.
• Ensure compliance with established testing processes, systems and procedures.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Contribute to QA processes, testing standards and continuous improvement of product quality.
• Support deployment validation, production verification and post-release checks.

Requirements

• Experience or strong interest in software testing, digital products, technology or product delivery.
• Experience testing websites, mobile applications or other customer-facing digital platforms.
• Ability to understand business requirements and identify different user scenarios, risks and edge cases.
• Good knowledge of functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to clearly explain defects and testing outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within an Agile delivery team.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, test-management tools or defect-tracking tools.
• Experience in mobile or internet banking testing would be preferred.
• Basic understanding of APIs, databases, SQL or automation testing would be advantageous but is not mandatory.
• Digitally savvy, curious and willing to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
