Job summary

NTT SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a QA/test engineer to support the delivery of digital products and enhancements.

You will design and execute test scenarios, perform end-to-end testing, and track defects in Jira within an Agile team. The role focuses on digital banking platforms across mobile and web. Ideal candidates have a strong interest in software testing, solid analytical skills, and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience or strong interest in software testing, digital products, technology or product delivery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to understand requirements and think through various user scenarios and edge cases; good communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within an Agile delivery team.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and defect/test management tools is beneficial.
• Basic understanding of APIs, databases and automated testing is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria and translate into test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end and user journey testing across digital platforms.
• Prepare test scenarios and data and track issues in Jira.
• Validate new features across different scenarios, devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, developers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
• Report testing progress and update on completed/failed/ongoing test cases and defects.
• Ensure compliance with testing processes and procedures.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies: backlog refinement, planning, stand-ups, retrospectives.
• Contribute to QA processes, standards and overall product quality.
• Support deployment validation and post-release checks after deployments.
• Experience in digital banking testing of mobile/internet banking is preferred.

Key Accountabilities

Support the delivery of digital products and enhancements by ensuring solutions are thoroughly tested, meet business requirements and provide a good customer/user experience

Contract Duration - 12 months Renewable

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria, and translate them into clear test scenarios and test cases that covers all scenarios (positive, negative, edge, error, end to end etc) where applicable
• Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end and user journey testing across digital platforms including preparation of test scenarios, test data and issue tracking
• Validate that new features and enhancements work as intended across all different scenarios, devices and browsers where applicable
• Identify, document and track proper test steps and test outcomes with supporting evidence in Jira
• Work closely with Product Owners, developers, business users and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve defects timely
• Reporting and documenting on testing progress (how many test cases completed/failed/run/defects closed out)
• Ensure compliance with testing processes, systems and procedures
• Participate in sprint ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives
• Contribute to quality QA processes, standards and overall product quality
• Support change deployment production validation and post-release checks and updates following deployments
• Experience in digital banking testing of mobile/internet banking preferred

Requirements

• Experience or strong interest in software testing, digital products, technology or product delivery.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to understand business requirements and think through different user scenarios and edge cases. - Good communication skills and the ability to explain defects and issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within an Agile delivery team.
• Comfortable working with digital applications, websites or mobile applications. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery practices would be an advantage.
• Exposure to tools such as Jira, Confluence, test management tools or defect tracking tools would be beneficial.
• Basic understanding of APIs, databases, SQL or automated testing would be an advantage but is not mandatory.
