Job summary

BGone Consultants in Singapore is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer – Data Center Infrastructure to join our project execution team. The role focuses on delivering robust data center infrastructure across the full lifecycle, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

You will interface with local and global teams, vendors, and clients to review SLDs, manage on-site progress, and support budget and risk control while upholding Singapore

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of practical electrical project management/engineering experience within data centers or mission-critical infrastructure.
• Proven track record of managing on-site sub-contractors and technical vendors in Singapore.
• Professional working proficiency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
• Strong multi-tasking, prioritization, and attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency with core project management software and tracking tools for quick report generation.

Responsibilities

• Drive data center project implementation from initiation to handover; monitor delivery schedules, quality, site safety, and local compliance.
• Review electrical single-line diagrams (SLDs), shop drawings, and submittals for critical equipment; conduct clarifications with suppliers.
• Track site electrical installation progress, resolve on-site issues, and manage documentation (progress reports, variation orders, testing/commissioning, handover).
• Collaborate with global/local engineering teams, vendors, sub-contractors, consultants, and clients for smooth integration across interfaces.
• Assist in project budget tracking, identify risks, propose value-engineering solutions, and optimize project costs without compromising reliability.
• Communicate proactively with clients, main contractors, suppliers, and property owners to maintain alignment and satisfaction.

Base Salary: SGD 5,000 – SGD 8,000 / month (Commensurate with experience)

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands‑on, detail‑oriented Electrical Engineer to join our project execution team in Singapore. You will contribute across the full lifecycle of data centre infrastructure projects—ensuring on‑time, within‑budget, and high‑quality delivery while adhering to Singapore’s strict electrical safety and compliance standards.

In this role, you will interface directly with local and global cross‑functional teams, equipment vendors, sub‑contractors, and key stakeholders to deliver robust critical power systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution & Lifecycle Management: Drive data center project implementation from initiation to handover; assist in monitoring delivery schedules, quality, site safety, and local Singapore electrical compliance.
• System Integration & Technical Review: Review electrical single‑line diagrams (SLDs), shop drawings, and technical submittals for critical equipment (Generator sets, UPS systems, High/Low Voltage switchgears, BESS/Energy Storage Systems); conduct technical clarifications with suppliers.
• Site Progress & On‑Site Problem Solving: Track daily/weekly site electrical installation progress, resolve baseline technical issues on‑site, and manage documentation (progress reports, variation orders, testing/commissioning, and handover documents).
• Cross‑Functional Coordination: Collaborate with global/local engineering teams, vendors, sub‑contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure smooth integration across discipline interfaces.
• Budget & Risk Control: Assist in project budget tracking, identify execution risks early, propose value‑engineering solutions, and optimize project costs without compromising reliability.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively communicate with clients, main contractors, suppliers, and property owners to maintain high project alignment and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience: 3+ years of practical electrical project management/engineering experience within data centers or mission‑critical infrastructure.
• Vendor & Sub‑contractor Management: Proven track record of managing on‑site sub‑contractors and technical vendors in Singapore.
• Languages: Professional working proficiency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken) to liaise with regional teams and vendors.
• Technical & Soft Skills:
• Strong multi‑tasking capability, prioritization skills, and attention to detail in fast‑paced environments.
• Practical data analysis skills for site decision‑making and project tracking.
