Job summary

Travelodge Hotels - Asia is seeking a Feasibility Manager to support its investment and development team. You will conduct feasibility studies on potential hotel management deals, perform market research, and prepare financial projections and pitches for opportunities.

You will work with development and operations teams to develop strategies and secure new hotel management contracts, contributing to the company’s growth in the Asia region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business, Real Estate or a related field from a recognised institution.
• Experience in hospitality or real estate is preferred.

JOB OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Director of Development, the Feasibility Manager will be part of the investment and development team to support the company’s strategic growth by supporting the business development efforts. The candidate will be exposed to business development activities and get to work on deals from the origination stage to contract conclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct feasibility studies for potential hotel management deals, partake in work relating to bidding or tendering process, including market research and underwriting of each potential project including critical market and competitive data, tracking and establishing pickup trends, occupancy history, and provide recommendations to management
• Conduct market research and assist in generating investment and development leads through contacts with developers, lending institutions, independent hotel operators, hotel brokers, hotel consultants and government tourism bodies, track new projects pipeline, maintain both deal and contact databases
• Develop financial projections, presentations, proposals and pitch materials in connection to each business development opportunity and work with various internal stakeholders to prepare proposals, including hotel operations and technical services team
• Work with development team to develop and implement business development strategies to grow the business and secure new hotel management contracts

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in either Hospitality, Business, Real Estate or a related field, from a recognised institution
• Relevant experience in the hospitality or real estate industry preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 2 – 4 years’ of working experience in either an analyst, associate or consultancy role in a hospitality or real estate related field.

Personal Qualities & Attributes:

• Well versed in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word, including financial modelling, graphs charting and presentatio
• Be an independent learner, team player and enjoy working within a dynamic group and fast paced environmen
• Be meticulous and has the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and in an organized way
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with strong logical thinking capability, including the ability to communicate efficiently to various stakeholders
• Proficient research experience with ability to independently collect and evaluate economic and local market data
