Job summary

CapitaLand, headquartered in Singapore, invites a student pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Real Estate, or Hospitality to join our team as an internship. You will assist in market research, competitor analysis, and destination reviews to generate strategic insights.

You will also help develop business cases, feasibility studies, and strategic papers, while preparing pitch decks, presentations, and departmental reports to support business development initiatives.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

• Support the Business Development team in conducting market research, competitor analysis, and destination reviews to identify industry trends and generate strategic insights.
• Assist in developing business cases, feasibility studies, and strategic papers by conducting research, collecting data, and preparing supporting analyses.
• Prepare, update, and maintain pitch decks, presentations, marketing collateral, departmental reports, and approval papers to support business development initiatives.
• Collect, analyse, and synthesise information required for management reports, strategic submissions, and business proposals.
• Provide administrative support during meetings, including notetaking, documentation, and follow-up on action items.
• Support the planning and coordination of conferences, events, and industry engagements, including identifying collaboration opportunities and preparing the necessary materials, when needed.
• Provide ad hoc support to the Business Development team on special projects and cross-functional initiatives as required.

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Real Estate, or Hospitality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite ( Word, PowerPoint, Excel ).
• Ability to multitask and deliver work on time and accurately.
• Detail-oriented and meticulous, with strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Possesses strong analytical skills, works well in a team, and is both independent and curious.
• Interested in learning about hospitality and lodging services and real estate finance.
• Curious-minded, self-starter
