Job summary

Sync In Motion Pte Ltd is seeking a Motion Desktop Support Engineer to deliver on-site and remote technical assistance for client hardware, software and peripherals. You will join a small team of two, manage user accounts and support installations and migrations at client sites, with a focus on high-quality service.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work independently as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of operating systems (Windows), software and hardware.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and with colleagues and clients.
• Basic programming or SQL knowledge is an advantage (e.g. C, C++, SQL).

Desktop Support Engineer – Sync In Motion Pte Ltd

Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, covering hardware, software and IT peripherals. You will work in a team of 2 and handle issues independently at client sites.

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for end users, on-site and remotely
• Install and configure software and hardware, and support installations and migrations

• Maintain IT peripherals and perform data backups
• Log incidents and follow up with vendors until they are resolved
• Maintain good client relationships and a high standard of service

Standby requirement (24/7)

• This role requires 24/7 standby. You will hold a standby phone when assigned and respond to urgent issues after hours, on weekends and on public holidays.
• The team is only 2 people, so standby rotation is frequent.
