Job summary

Private Advertiser in Singapore is seeking a motivated Junior Designer / Design Coordinator with 2–3 years of relevant experience to support residential design and construction projects. The role requires a good design sense, fast drafting, and proficiency in 3D modelling and visualisation.

You will produce 3D models and renderings, translate concepts into technical drawings, coordinate with project teams, and help manage design documentation from concept to completion in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Interior Design or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in residential interior design or similar field.
• Proficient and fast in SketchUp and/or other 3D modelling software.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for technical and construction drawings.
• Experience with rendering software such as Enscape, V-Ray, D5 Render, Lumion or equivalent.
• Ability to translate ideas and reference images into workable 3D designs efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts, space planning, layouts and material selections for residential projects.
• Produce 3D models and renderings for design presentations and client discussions.

About the role

The Company is seeking a motivated and hands-on Junior Designer / Design Coordinator with approximately 2-3 years of relevant experience to support residential design and construction projects. The ideal candidate should have a good design sense, some technical fundamentals, be fast and proficient in 3D modelling and visualisation and most importantly, strong eagerness to learn.

Key responsibilities

• Develop design concepts, space planning, layouts and material selections for residential projects.

• Produce 3D models and renderings quickly and accurately for design presentations and client discussions.

• Translate design concepts and approved 3D designs into detailed drawings for construction and fabrication.

About you

• Minimum Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or related discipline.

• Approximately 2-3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in residential interior design.

• Highly proficient and fast in SketchUp and/or other 3D modelling software.

• Proficient in AutoCAD for technical and construction drawings.

• Experience with rendering software such as Enscape, V-Ray, D5 Render, Lumion or equivalent.

• Ability to translate ideas and reference images into workable 3D designs efficiently.

• Understanding of materials, finishes, carpentry detailing and basic construction methods would be advantageous.

• Able to manage multiple design tasks and revisions in a fast-paced environment.

• Independent, resourceful and willing to take ownership of assigned work.

• Good communication and coordination skills.
