Job summary

Private Advertiser in Singapore is seeking a motivated Junior Designer / Design Coordinator with 2–3 years of relevant experience to support residential design and construction projects. The role requires a good design sense, fast drafting, and proficiency in 3D modelling and visualisation.

You will produce 3D models and renderings, translate concepts into technical drawings, coordinate with project teams, and help manage design documentation from concept to completion in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Interior Design or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in residential interior design or similar field.
• Proficient and fast in SketchUp and/or other 3D modelling software.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for technical and construction drawings.
• Experience with rendering software such as Enscape, V-Ray, D5 Render, Lumion or equivalent.
• Ability to translate ideas and reference images into workable 3D designs efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts, space planning, layouts and material selections for residential projects.
• Produce 3D models and renderings for design presentations and client discussions.
• Translate design concepts and approved 3D designs into detailed drawings for construction and fabrication.
• Prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, carpentry details and other technical drawings.
• Revise drawings and 3D models based on client, consultant and site feedback.
• Assist with material, furniture, sanitaryware, lighting and finishes selection.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, suppliers and fabricators to ensure design intent is executed.
• Attend site meetings, conduct site measurements and help resolve design-related site issues.
• Maintain documentation and organisation of drawings, specifications and material information.
• Support the design team from concept to construction and completion.
