Job summary

The role focuses on developing students’ design, manufacturing, and programming skills through practical and theoretical instruction. The successful candidate will teach core design elements, apply graphic processes, and guide students in CAD/CAM tools, 3D printing, and laser cutting.

Qualifications

• Ability to teach Computer Science at middle and IGCSE levels.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Scratch and HTML programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Teach core design elements and visual literacy to develop design thinking.
• Instruct on composition and layout techniques for clear visual arrangements.
• Demonstrate drawing techniques: freehand, isometric, orthographic, perspective and more.
• Explain graphic materials and manufacturing processes for packaging coursework.
• Operate and teach resistant material equipment like scroll saws, band saws, and forming ovens.
• Utilize ICT and CAD/CAM tools including Fusion 360 and Inkscape; operate 3D printers and laser cutters.
• Monitor progress and provide timely feedback for 50% of subject assessment weightage.
• Teach Computer Science at middle and IGCSE levels (Python, Java, Scratch, HTML).
