Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore seeks a candidate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in construction drawing preparation and excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and able to generate typical installation details for façade specialist products. Experience in Aluminium profiles and 3D rendering is advantageous. The role requires independence and the ability to meet deadlines.

Job description

Reporting to the Design Manager, the suitable candidate should possess the following requirements:

• Min. 3 years’ experience in construction drawing preparation (preferably in Aluminium profiles/Curtain wall design), preparation of quotations and project coordination including all relevant material/data submission for specifier approval.
• Possess excellent inter-personal skills dealing with Main Contractors, ACMV contractors and sub-installers.
• Good command of both written and spoken English.
• Knowledge in Word / Excel / AutoCAD software a must. Able to interpret construction drawings and generate typical installation details of façade specialist products.
• Knowledge and the ability to carry out 3D rendering and working with BIM modelling an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience of designing Aluminium extrusions would be beneficial.
• Independent, self motivated and able to work with minimum guidance following training.
• Determined, results orientated and ability to work within deadlines.
