Job summary

LUM CHANG BUILDING CONTRACTORS PTE LTD. is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer with BIM coordination experience to oversee the production of coordinated shop drawings and Concrete Body Plans.

You will coordinate with consultants and authorities, review technical solutions, and guide a team of BIM Modelers to ensure timely delivery of shop drawings and submissions. The role requires a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, 3+ years of relevant experience, and preferably PE registration in

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with design experience in contracting.
• PE registration is preferred (Singapore).
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the field.
• Familiar with British & Singapore Design Standards.
• Independent, analytical, highly motivated with good teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design drawings with consultants to comply with authorities’ requirements.

Job description

Your Role

• Coordinate design drawings with consultants to comply with requirements of the authorities
• Review and provide solutions to technical problems as well as plan, monitor and report shop drawing production progress
• Prepare technical submissions for materials, construction methods and C&S shop drawings
• Resolve construction issues on drawings and liaise closely with Architectural and M&E teams as well as the authorities
• Supervise a team of BIM Modelers for the production of coordinated shop drawings and Concrete Body Plans

The Requirements

• Possess a Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering with relevant design working experience with contractors
• Preferably a Professional Engineer registered with the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Be conversant in British & Singapore Design Standards
• Be independent, analytical, highly motivated with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills
