Job summary

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) invites a Deputy/Assistant Manager to lead environmental protection and sustainability across LTA projects. You will contribute to governance, policy development, and data-driven decision making while building capabilities among staff and contractors.

You will also support EMS deployment, conduct audits, and coordinate with regulators to drive sustainable transport initiatives and reduce environmental impact.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
• Passion for environmental and sustainability issues with practical solutions.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to present clear, well-structured content.
• Strong writing and presentation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with management, functions, contractors and external stakeholders.
• Experience developing environmental and sustainability training materials or awareness campaigns.
• Proficiency in Python, data analytics and visualization tools, and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Uphold environmental governance in LTA projects.
• Develop data-driven insights, conceptualise frameworks and solutions for environmental challenges.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of the Environmental Management System for LTA construction projects.
• Formulate environmental and sustainability policies and strategies, provide advisory support and conduct site audits.
• Facilitate partnerships with regulatory agencies on environmental matters.
• Develop, advocate and monitor initiatives addressing noise management, vector control, water pollution, and carbon management.
• Conduct research and data analytics to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Build environmental and sustainability awareness through training and promotional materials.
