Job summary

Staffhub Group in Singapore invites a Deputy General Manager (M&E) to lead ten on-going M&E and building term contract projects, oversee planning, monitor progress and ensure delivery with high quality at optimum cost. You will take full leadership of site activities and coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors to build a strong project portfolio.

We seek a results-oriented leader with 7–10 years’ experience in term contract M&E, Building/IFM, a relevant degree,

Qualifications

• 7–10 years’ experience in term contract M&E, Building/IFM projects.
• Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or Environment Engineering.
• Result-oriented with strong organization, able to lead a team.
• Excellent oral and written English skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and secure new tenders.
• Oversee 10 on-going M&E, Building works term contracts and ensure timely progress and quality at optimum cost.
• Report against KPIs to ensure progress against the plan and implement recovery plans if gaps exist.
• Take full leadership of the organisation and coordinate all-site activities and business processes.
• Develop and implement business plans to expand the company and monitor progress.
• Lead project managers, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely site progress.
• Ensure timely submission of monthly progress claims and monitor cashflow and budgets by the M&E team.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors on technical matters.
• Build a strong business network and secure a solid business base.
• Feedback performance to Directors and manage profit and loss.

Responsibilities

• Source and secure new tender
• Oversee and manage 10 on-going M&E, Building works term contract projects and ensure timely project execution through planning, monitoring of project progress and execute task effectively while maintaining high quality standard at optimum cost
• Report against agreed KPIs to ensure that progress against the business plan is measured, and that any gaps identified are remedied with recovery plans
• Take full leadership of the organisation and lead the coordination of all-site related activities and business processes
• Develop and implement business plans to expand the company, monitor progress and review
• Good leadership to guide, supervision of project managers, engineers, sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure site progress are complete on time
• Ensure and facilitate the timely submission of monthly progress claims, monitoring of project cashflow, budgets by the M&E team
• Work closely and coordinates with all stakeholders such as the clients, consultants and sub-contractors on technical matters
• Build good business network and secure a strong business base
• Feedback of company and project performance to Directors
• Responsible for profit and loss, top line and bottom-line of the company

Requirements

• Minimum 7-10 years of related experience in term contract based M&E, Building, IFM projects
• Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Building Services/ Environment Engineering or any relevant qualifications
• Result-oriented, resourceful, independent, good organization skills and able to lead a team
• Good oral and written English skills
• Sound knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems for buildings and air-conditioning
• Proven track records of awarded projects
