Job summary

The Deputy Director (DD), Infrastructure Planning & Development at the National Arts Council Singapore leads the planning, development and stewardship of Singapore's arts space ecosystem, translating NAC's long-term infrastructure strategies into precinct, space and arts housing outcomes.

You will shape future arts infrastructure, translate strategy into deliverable projects, and oversee two portfolios—Planning & Diversified Spaces and Leasing & Tenancy Management—while building partnerships

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in urban planning, property or infrastructure planning.
• Experience in policy development related to infrastructure, space management or cultural policy.
• Experience in leasing, asset or tenancy management, including contract administration.
• Experience in public-sector development and public-private partnerships.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation with government, private sector and communities.
• Proven leadership with at least 5 years supervising multi-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and review of the Arts Spaces Plan.
• Direct demand-supply and spatial analysis to identify future needs by art form, location and typology.
• Develop cultural precinct strategies and placemaking initiatives.
• Expand and diversify arts spaces through public/private partnerships.
• Oversee governance, compliance and process improvement across tenancy and space management.
