Job summary

encasa asia employment services llp, on behalf of a reputable Grade A1 main contractor, is seeking a Lead Quantity Surveyor in Singapore. The role involves overseeing procurement, contract management and cost control on large infrastructure projects.

You will lead a team of QS professionals, review tender documents, monitor project budgets, track design changes and manage main/subcontract claims and disputes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying / construction management / civil engineering/ building or related fields.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, analytical mindset, problem solving abilities, as well as keen interest and motivation in a high growth and entrepreneur environment

Responsibilities

• Lead/manage a team of Quantity Surveyors in the administration and review of procurement and contract management
• Review contract documents and providing cost estimates on tenders
• Prepare and monitor project cost budget, cash-flow for project, track changes in design/construction work, variations and adjust budget projections accordingly
• Oversee and manage main contract progress claim and subcontract payment including variation claim
• Resolving contract disputes and contract claims, assessing entitlement for extension of time and loss/expense claim
• Able to independently lead/manage large scale project
• Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondences and documentations
• Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders
• Ensure timely finalization of main and subcontract

• Basic up to $9,000 + AWS & Bonus
• 5 days work week (9am - 6pm) | Location: Joo Koon area (Straight bus from Boon Lay MRT / Walking distance from Joo Koon MRT)
