Job summary

Oral Maxillofacial & Implant Clinic (OMIC) in Novena, Singapore, is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant (Full-Time) to support dentists and specialists in delivering quality patient care. The role covers chairside assistance, patient coordination, clinical documentation, and strict infection-control adherence.

Responsibilities include room preparation, instrument sterilisation, patient prep, and post-operative guidance. 5.5-day work week (44 hours), weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Ability to communicate in Malay or Mandarin is an advantage.
• Basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist oral maxillofacial specialists during general dentistry, oral surgery, and implant procedures.
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before and after procedures.
• Perform chairside assisting.
• Clean, disinfect, sterilise, and store instruments in compliance with MOH infection control standards.
• Prepare patients before procedures and provide post-operative instructions.
• Assist with dental procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Support appointment scheduling, patient coordination, and basic billing functions.
• Manage inventory of dental materials and supplies.
• Ensure cleanliness of clinical areas.
• Comply with MOH, PDPC, workplace safety, and infection control regulations.
