Job summary

Mykonos Medical Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Senior Dental Assistant to work closely with dentists, support clinical procedures, and ensure high-quality patient care.

You will help prepare rooms and materials, manage instruments, and assist across restorative, surgical, implant, endodontic, and orthodontic treatments. Join a dynamic team in a modern clinic at Tanjong Pagar, focusing on infection control, records maintenance, and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant dental assisting experience.
• Experience in implant, surgical, endodontic, or orthodontic procedures.
• Good knowledge of dental instruments, materials, and infection control procedures.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organised, responsible, and attentive to detail.
• Ability to support and guide junior team members.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new dental technology and clinic systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists chairside during general and specialised dental procedures to ensure efficient treatment delivery.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment before and after procedures to maintain readiness and safety.
• Support dentists during restorative, surgical, implant, endodontic, and orthodontic treatments to facilitate clinical workflow.
• Maintain infection control, sterilisation, and clinical safety standards to protect patients and staff.
• Operate dental X-ray, intraoral scanning, and other dental equipment as needed to assist diagnosis and treatment.
• Prepare dental materials, instruments, trays, and clinical items to support treatment procedures.
• Keep treatment rooms and clinical areas clean, organised, and properly maintained for optimal patient care environment.
• Monitor dental supplies and assist with stock management and ordering to ensure availability of materials.
• Handle, store, and maintain dental instruments and equipment properly to extend usability and safety.
• Assist in maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation to support patient care and compliance.
• Provide professional and courteous assistance to patients before, during, and after treatment to enhance patient experience.
• Support and mentor junior Dental Assistants and new team members to foster team development.
• Assist the dental team with daily clinical workflow and operational matters to ensure smooth clinic functioning.
• Follow clinic policies, procedures, infection control requirements, and workplace safety standards consistently.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the Clinic Manager or dentists to support clinic operations

Required competencies and certifications
