Job summary

TOOFDOCTOR Dental Surgeons in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Dental Surgery Assistant cum Receptionist for our Toa Payoh Central clinic. This full-time role combines front-d desk duties with chairside support to our dental surgeons, ensuring smooth patient flow and a welcoming environment.

You will manage records, appointments, and inquiries, assist during treatments, uphold infection control, and help with inventory.

Qualifications

• Minimum N/O Levels or equivalent.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Mandarin preferred to liaise with Mandarin-speaking patients.
• Willing to work on weekends and evenings.
• Dental industry experience is advantageous, candidates with no experience are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during dental treatment.
• Maintain cleanliness of dental equipment and infection control.
• Order dental supplies when stock is low.
• Handle clinic reception duties: patient records and appointments.
• Manage telephone inquiries and patient bookings.

About the role

TOOFDOCTOR Dental Surgeons is seeking a dedicated and organised Dental Surgery Assistant cum Receptionist to join our team at our Toa Payoh Central location. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. You will be the first point of contact for our patients whilst also providing essential chairside support to our dental surgeons. This dual responsibility role is fundamental to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining an efficient, welcoming dental environment. Your contribution will directly impact patient satisfaction and the overall success of our practice.

What you need to do:

• Assists the dentist during the dental treatment;

• Maintains and ensures cleanliness of all dental equipments;

• Ensures high standard of infection control;

• Informs and assists to order the dental supplies when the supplies are low in stock;

• Performs clinic reception duties such as keeping patients’ records and fixing appointments for the patients;

• Handles telephone enquiries and bookings for the patients;

• Arranges and informs the patients for appointments and remind them for follow-up treatments;

• Performs any other duties that may be assigned to him/ her.

What you need to have:

• Minimum ‘N’/ ‘O’ Levels or equivalent

• Good Communication and Interpersonal skills

• Preferably able to speak Mandarin in order to liaise with and assist Mandarin-speaking patients accordingly

• Willing to work on Weekends and evenings

• Experience in dental industry will be advantageous, candidates with no experience are welcome to apply
