Delivery assistant

We are looking for a reliable and physically fit Delivery Assistant to support our delivery team in handling and delivering furniture to customers’ homes. This role is hands‑on and requires teamwork, care, and a good attitude when dealing with customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with loading and unloading furniture from the delivery vehicle
• Deliver, carry, and position furniture safely at customers’ premises
• Help with basic assembly of furniture when required
• Ensure items are handled carefully to prevent damage
• Communicate politely with customers during deliveries
• Follow delivery schedules and instructions from the operations team
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of delivery equipment and vehicle

Skills & Requirements

• Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy items(furnitures)
• Able to read and speak basic English
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Responsible, punctual, and reliable
• Able to follow instructions and safety guidelines
• Prior delivery or furniture handling experience is an advantage (but not required)
