Job summary

Planet seeks a Customer Success Manager for Defense & Intelligence to manage and grow strategic military and government relationships across Asia. You will own the customer lifecycle, ensure value delivery, and drive retention by helping agencies maximize the use of Planet’s imagery and geospatial solutions in their workflows.

The ideal candidate has Defence/government experience, Mandarin fluency, and strong English communication, plus a solid GIS background.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience working with Defence Forces or national government agencies.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field.
Excellent Mandarin communication, plus strong English.
Solid grasp of GIS, remote sensing or satellite imagery.
Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Lead stakeholder relationships with high‑stakes military and government agencies.
Guide customers to integrate Planet data into geospatial workflows.
Navigate interagency structures and build cross‑ministry connections.
Own renewals and identify opportunities for account growth.
Advocate customer needs with Product, Sales and Engineering teams.
