Job summary

Russell Tobin is seeking an experienced Deal Desk/Commercial Operations professional in Singapore to drive standardized processes across finance, sales, legal, and compliance. You will quarterback complex deals through CPQ, contract management, and internal approvals, while embedding approved deal structures into Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in deal desk, sales strategy, commercial operations, or related roles in a high-growth tech environment.
• Experience executing in CPQ, SFDC, and contract platforms and improving those systems.
• Strong detail orientation and process-improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Quarterback deals through CPQ, approvals, and contract execution with accuracy and timeliness.
• Own deal execution processes across commercial workflows.
• Build AI-native tooling with internal teams to scale commercial processes.
• Optimize workflows to reduce friction in the sales cycle and speed time-to-close.
• Bridge Sales and supporting teams, maintaining contract/compliance systems and ensuring terms align with standards.
• Provide visibility on high-priority deals and escalate when executive input is needed.
• Collaborate with Legal to ensure agreements reflect commercial intent and approvals.
• Track deal patterns to identify bottlenecks and propose data-driven improvements.
• Maintain and improve deal documentation: approval policies, pricing guidelines, SKU guidance, and playbooks.
